About Us
Beldari Pottery Studio is located in the historic border town of Echuca on the banks of the Murray River.
At Beldari Pottery, we offer a wide range of handmade pottery pieces that are perfect for any occasion. From mugs and bowls to vases and decorative items, our pottery is both functional and beautiful. Our pieces are made by experienced potters who are passionate about their craft.
Classes are available for the beginner, through to intermediate.
Here you have the option to learn all about how to make wheel thrown pottery, hand-built items using different techniques, such as pinch pot, slab, coils, and sculpture.
We also have glazing classes which include understanding glaze recipes and the basics of firing a kiln.
For students, the sense of achievement comes from creating something both tactile and functional, from a block of clay to a completed treasure.
An onsite firing service is available to both students and local potters looking for a place to have their items fired.
For private events such as: hens parties, pot and pour, birthdays, kids days, team building, or any other 'days', please reach out via our Contact Us page.
Our Potters
Chris Stephens
Chris has floated in and out of ceramics over 30 plus years with a particular enthusiasm for wheel throwing. In 2018 Chris was approached to fill a need for a local teaching studio. From this, Beldari pottery was born and Chris began teaching to share that passion with others.
