Please Note: Our Returner course does not include clay, glaze or firing. Clay can be purchased in studio, and glazing/firing is at a cost of $12.00 per kilo for completed works.

If you've had a taste of wheel throwing and are eager to seize the moment, hone your craft, and create stunning masterpieces, this course is for you!

Over four weeks, we’ll delve deeper into the techniques that will help you expand on what you’ve already learned. From refining your throwing skills to exploring new forms and finishes, this course provides the guidance and flexibility you need to grow. Whether you’re working toward perfecting a single piece or experimenting with new ideas, our experienced instructors will support you every step of the way.

Whether you want to master symmetrical bowls, explore more intricate designs, or create one-of-a-kind vases, you’ll find the freedom and inspiration to achieve your goals.

Where, When, How

Location: Beldari Pottery Studio, 495 High Street Echuca.

Session Times:

Tuesdays 18:30 to 20:30

Sundays 10:30 to 12:30

Cost: $220.00

Duration: Four weeks (one 2-hour session each week).

Class Size: Small groups, so you get plenty of guidance.

Additional Costs: Clay is purchased only when you need it. Finished pieces are fired at $12 per kilo.

Ages: Suitable for ages 14 and up.

Parking: There’s free on-street parking out the front, as well as around the corner in Heygarth Street.  We also have a small carpark behind the studio for your convenience.

What to Bring: A towel, a drink bottle, comfy older clothes, and your sense of fun.

Can’t Make a Week? We offer the opportunity for one make-up class if you need to miss a session.

💡 Helpful tips: Keep nails short (as they can cut into the clay), tie back long hair, and leave bulky jewellery at home so you can fully enjoy the clay experience.

Do I need experience?

Yes. These returner classes are perfect if you’ve used the wheel before and want to build confidence, refine skills and enjoy a fun, creative return to throwing. Everything is explained in a simple, easy way.

What should I bring?

Just yourself, a water bottle and clothes you don’t mind getting a little clay on. Everything else is kept simple and convenient so you can relax and enjoy being creative.

How long are the classes?

Classes run for 2 hours each week over 4 weeks on your chosen day and time. Sessions feel unrushed, supportive and fun. Tools and equipment are included. Clay and firings are not included.

What if I miss a class?

If something comes up, just let us know. One make-up class can be arranged where possible, keeping things simple and stress-free.

How do I book?

Booking is easy — just click on the link below, and choose the session that feels right for you. Spots can fill quickly, so enrolling now keeps everything convenient and stress-free.

Can I take my pieces home?

Yes. Once pieces are glazed and fired, they’re ready to be collected. Firings are charged separately, giving you flexibility and choice.

Is parking easy?

Yes. On-street parking and a small rear car park make arriving calm, easy and convenient — so you can step straight into creative, fun clay time.
